Doug Rich, PT, OCS, CHT
Doug Rich is a 1994 graduate of the University of Kansas Medical School with a Masters in Physical Therapy. He is a Certified Hand Therapist and is considered a masters level clinician in the field of Physical Therapy with a Orthopedic Certified Specialists designation by the American Physical Therapy Association. Less than 1% of all Physical Therapists achieve this designation and a review on competency is required every 10 years to maintain this designation. In 2005 Doug was voted by his peers to the listing on the BESTOFUS.com as one of the top orthopedic physical therapy practitioners in the State of Arizona. After managing a large physical therapy clinic in Scottsdale for over 10 years, Doug started Rich Physical Therapy in November of 2007. Previously, Doug managed a sports specific physical therapy clinic at Arizona State University.
Doug Rich has two patents for exercise equipment. The PexxPad is a protective device for the benchpress. The Closed Chain Gym offers advanced functional training for all individuals trying to safely transfer from general exercises to full functional and sporting activities.
Doug Rich is active with the Justin Healers as a treating clinician for PRCA events in the Southwest region of the United States.
Jill Bauer Heath, PT, DPT, COMT
Jill received a B.S. in exercise science at Northern Arizona University. She then went on to complete a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at NAU in 2006. She has continued to be a “lifelong learner” through becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through the Ola Grimsby Institute as well as continuing education in the areas of: lumbar and cervical spine, manual therapy, foot and ankle.
Jill has focused her years of practice in the area of orthopedics and sports medicine. The principles and techniques she has acquired through her training and experience give her the ability to treat her patients with an individualized hands-on approach to facilitate their rehabilitation.
Jill believes in utilizing skilled manual therapy to improve functional movement, in order for the patient to develop independence in a continued exercise and self-management program.
Jill appreciates the importance of a healthy lifestyle and enjoys staying active through exercise, hiking, and running.
