At Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on employing the best and most passionate physical therapists in Arizona. Michelle Bogert, PT, DPT embodies what we look for in a Foothills employee and we are happy to recognize her as our physical therapist of the month!
After completing her undergrad at Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Michelle obtained her physical therapy degree from Azusa Pacific University. In 2012, she joined the Foothills Team and has been with us ever since. A passion for helping others to live a healthy and active lifestyle is what drew her to the physical therapy industry.
Her day starts by greeting patients who have come for help with an array of issues; including sports medicine rehabilitation, and general orthopedics like gait, balance, and vestibular issues. She loves creating effective treatment plans that maximize results for her patients. Commitment to her team runs deep and she enjoys the opportunity to work next to some of the most outstanding physical therapists in the region.
When she isn’t pursuing higher education, or impacting patient’s lives she usually is running, swimming, or going to the gym with her husband. Her family is local and they enjoy big family dinners and frequent game nights.
For those interested in physical therapy as a career, her recommendation is that you get observation hours and experience a day in the life of a physical therapist. By taking these steps a new entrant can fully understand the commitment it takes to make it in this field. Michelle sees her future as rising through the ranks at Foothills to one day running her own clinic.
At the North Central Phoenix location, Michelle found the opportunity to build a career around the challenge of making a positive impact on so many lives. If you are interested in receiving care from Michelle or any one of our outstanding physical therapists, visit our website and request an appointment.
