After encountering injuries that required physical therapy, she recognized a significant gap between physical therapy and dance, motivating her to pursue physical therapy as a career to help bridge this divide within the dance community. By becoming a physical therapist, Makali can continue her passion for dance while working with other young athletes, aiming to utilize her knowledge and experience to support the next generation of athletes.
Makali emphasizes hands-on, individualized treatments focused on proper form with each patient in her treatment approach. She is dedicated to challenging her patients in every session, aiming to help them become stronger than when they first started.
