Earlier this month, we celebrated our second annual Employee Appreciation Event. At this event, we honored Foothills employees celebrating 3, 5, 7, 10 and 15 years of service, as well as announced our two 2017 Employees of the Year. This gathering allowed us to celebrate our employees who truly make a difference and support us in our vision – to be the preeminent provider of physical therapy and rehabilitation services that positively impact the lives of our patients, our team members, and our communities. Read on to meet our 2017 Employees of the Year!
Employee of the Year – Non Clinical: Morgon Edwards
With an overflow of warm hearted nominees, it goes by no surprise that Morgon Edwards was named the Non Clinical Employee of the Year. Morgon began her journey as a tech at the Arrowhead clinic in 2012, transitioned to a front office receptionist and now is part of the Foothills marketing team—representing the East Valley locations. Her growth within the company speaks to her dedication, passion and hard work ethic. “To be voted by my peers is such an overwhelming honor—I didn’t even have words for an acceptance speech when I received the award,” mentions Morgon.

“Morgon has lead with a positive passionate attitude since day one of training. She has and will always go above and beyond for her co-workers as well as her peers.”

She is always going the extra mile to build new relationships with our patient’s doctors. When she stops by our office she is always willing to offer help and guidance. She is a great role model for the company.”
“Morgon plays a key role in bettering the lives of current patients as well as our new patients. Whether it be communicating proper information to referring providers or monitoring intakes and ensuring all patients have been captured and taken care of during all treatment.”
Employee of the Year – Clinical: Delicia Johnson
Delicia’s compassion for her patients, teammates and community members did not go unnoticed over the past year. From mentor to physical therapist to valued employee—Delicia defines what it means to be a skilled, caring clinician. She’s been with Foothills for 10 years, and we’re ecstatic to have her be named the 2017 Foothills Clinical Employee of the Year. We asked Delicia what this award means to her. Here’s what she had to say. “I love my job, love my Arrowhead family and feel so blessed to be part of a company that allows me to grow and flourish to become the best therapist I can be for my patients.”
Delicia’s teammates had compliment after compliment, so we thought we’d share a few touching nomination submissions from her coworkers.
