Kevin Truitt is originally from Tucson, AZ. He started his PT career in outpatient orthopedics and spent five years as the team physical therapist for the Major League Baseball Milwaukee Brewers. Since 2017, he has been with Foothills focusing on orthopedic post-op rehab and musculoskeletal pain. Kevin takes a special interest in evaluating and rehabilitating professional, amateur, and overhead youth athletes. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has a certification in dry needling.

Michael’s introduction to physical therapy occurred during his high school and college years while playing baseball. He encountered several injuries that required professional attention. Though PT was instrumental in his return to the field, he wanted the knowledge and techniques to help him fully restore his pre-injury performance.
In 2014, Michael became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. This inspired him to learn more about athletic development and injury prevention. A few years later, Michael realized pursuing a career in physical therapy was the perfect complement to cater to athletes and non-athletes alike.
As a physical therapist, Michael now enjoys providing others the tools to return to prior-level function while reducing the likelihood of re-injury. Michael’s treatment approach is grounded in functionality and creativity with his treatment strategies. He assesses all proximal body regions related to the chief complaint, focuses on what individuals need to do and what’s hindering them from doing it, and devises a comprehensive care plan. He continuously evaluates the risk-benefit ratio to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
