Ergonomic Assessments

Is your computer in the right position? Does your chair fit you properly? Are you maintaining correct posture while you complete work tasks?

We spend the majority of our day at our jobs, so it makes sense that if your workstation is set up incorrectly, you can experience pain and develop injuries over time.  According to the CDC, “The goal of ergonomics is to reduce stress and eliminate injuries and disorders associated with the overuse of muscles, bad posture, and repeated tasks… employees who spend many hours at a workstation may develop ergonomic-related problems resulting in musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).”

Our Ergonomic Assessments were designed to assess workstations, identify current or potential issues that may cause you pain or injury, and provide practical ergonomic improvements. After all, working hard shouldn’t be a pain in the neck.

A thorough evaluation and adjustment of your workstation can help to reduce stress in your neck, back, arms, and hands, potentially saving you from developing serious conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, thoracic outlet syndrome, tension neck syndrome, and more.

A proper workstation will:

  • improve productivity
  • decrease aches and pains
  • improve blood flow
  • increase overall well-being…

…AND help protect your muscles, nerves, tendons, joints, cartilage, and spinal discs so you can spend your work hours concentrating on what you do best.

If you have a nagging pain that increases as the work day progresses, you may benefit from our Ergonomic Assessments program.
