Led by Clinic Director Dr. Ted Carter, the Ahwatukee team continues the Foothills legacy and mission—to provide hands-on physical therapy that gets results! She has been a dedicated PT for over 20 years at the Ahwatukee clinic. With a hands-on approach to therapy care, Lori is able to work alongside her patients throughout their recovery process. This inspired her to become a PTA, and she earned her degree from GateWay Community College in 2023. Matthew Drapkin is a passionate physical therapist whose own experiences as a patient ignited his dedication to the field. After earning his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University, Matthew returned to Foothills, where he first worked as a PT tech, now as a licensed therapist. His patient-centered approach is rooted in a commitment to collaborative, individualized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to meet the unique needs of every patient.
With a particular interest in working with athletes, chronic pain sufferers, and post-surgical patients. After transferring to Arizona State University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Wellness. During this time, Eric worked as a physical therapy technician and decided to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating from Pima Medical Institute.
