Awarded ‘Best Place for Physical Therapy’ by the Ahwatukee Foothills News, this location continues the Foothills legacy and mission—to provide hands-on physical therapy that gets results. Ted is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Orthopaedic section and is a neuro-orthopedic manual therapist, offering highly skilled physical therapy services. His expertise includes the treatment of chronic pain, spinal manipulation, and dry needling. He frequently mentors residents, new graduates, and doctor of physical therapy students. Ted enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys in his free time, playing guitar and exercising.
Education: Boston University
Lori is an avid runner who has competed in numerous half marathons and completed NYC marathon in 2011. She received her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has been a dedicated PT for over 20 years at the Ahwatukee clinic.
Education: University of Maryland at Baltimore
Tony has been a physical therapist in Arizona for 18 years and has been with Foothills since 2004. He has worked in many settings in his career including outpatient, aquatic, sports medicine, and orthopedic therapy. Tony’s goal as a therapist is to help patients get back to their active lifestyles. Tony enjoys sports and ran his first half marathon in 1hr 50mins and four years later had his personal best at 1hr 19mins. He also qualified for the NY Marathon.
Education: Hunter College
Erica is a Certified Vestibular Rehabilitation Specialist. She frequently treats the following conditions, including, but not limited to, BPPV, vestibular neuritis/labyrinthitis, cervicogenic vertigo, PPPD, Migraine induced vertigo, concussion-related dizziness, central dizziness, and balance disorders.cErica was a competitive athlete wrapping up her career as a collegiate-level gymnast at the University of Massachusetts before joining Foothills.
Education: Grand Valley State University, University of Michigan
Meryl was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and is a passionate Chicago sports fan and former competitive athlete. Meryl is passionate about helping others and working with patients from all walks of life. She is committed to a career of lifelong learning, having completed the Orthopedic Residency Program at Foothills Sports Medicine Physical Therapy. Meryl is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist as of 2022.
