I’ve been seeing Kevin for about two months now and not only have I had great results from my wrist injury, I am beyond impressed with the way he takes care of his patients. I’m usually here for about an 90 minutes and Kevin takes me through many different exercises to help my recover and even better, he gives me exercises and advise to help my recovery when I’m at home (I only see Kevin once a week). I also have seen many clients during my visits and it’s inspiring seeing Kevin work with them; makes me motivated to get healthier. If you need a physical therapist in Anthem, AZ, there are 2 choices. Forget about the other place and go see Kevin T. at Foothills Sports Medicine in the Safeway plaza. He will know how to handle your issue from a clinical perspective, which most PTs can do. However what sets Kevin apart is that he also listens and engages with all of his patients. His ability to build rapport and make sure that you are having the best experience possible puts him a notch above the rest. He is kind, compassionate and very dedicated. He is quick, bright and has the rare ability to multitask between patients while keeping no one waiting around. Foothills is fortunate to have such a talented PT!

I recently had a full right knee replacement, Kevin was i instrumental in my recovery.. He has worked on me for the last 6 weeks to build back my strength and the ability to walk normal. I highly recommend him.

Kevin is the best there is and he is super knowledgeable about getting people back to full strength.He was highly recommended and he certainly did not disappoint. I have been seeing him since January since I got ankle surgery down , he has pushed me and encouraged me to full recovery in the last few months. I remember starting with band stretches and feeling like I will never get to do impact exercise . Fast forward 5 months later I am doing impact exercise such as running and different cone drills . He also makes sure to change up the exercise every time to work different muscles in your body . I am almost at 6 months post surgery and I feel much stronger that I was before surgery. I use to see him 3 times a week but dropped down to twice with how much strength and confidence I have gained to be able to do some of the work on my own time . During my visits , it is always fascinating see how well he interacts with other clients with words of encouragement or even something as simple as changing the music channel on pandora to inspire the clients for their workout that day . Kevin knows his stuff and caters to each individual special needs. Always tell him how your body is feeling in the beginning of the session and he will cater the exercises to help you that day. Kevin is the man , the myth and the legend. Also the office manager Kelly is so kind and awesome asking about welcoming each customer with a smile and kind words . Totally recommend this location for physical therapy and is certainly worth the drive . They are a great team to work with.

Kevin Truitt is a world class Physical Therapist. His ability to treat the issue is paramount. However what makes him special is his ability to communicate with his patients. I felt comfortable with my rehab process because he consistently gave me feedback on where I was and where I needed to go. You do not find that with a lot of people in this industry. Kevin Truitt and his staff are exceptional.

I am dealing with residual pain and movement issues related to an older injury. As I have aged the issue in my wrist had become more pronounced and limiting. It inhibited my ability to coach and play pickleball.

Doing strength exercises with other practices did not help. Kevin is breaking scar tissue, walking me through corrective movements and more.

His staff is incredible and skillful as well.

I have benefitted so much from his service that I am recommending that my athletes go see him for more than just injury management!

My 13 year old son and I have been dealing with chronic pain for a few years due to an inherited condition. I was referred to Kevin at Foothills Anthem by my doctor and after actually feeling some relief I decided to bring my son in.

He had been working with a special needs trainer for kids with autism, but he was still in pain and his attitude was getting worse every week. The positive changes that we’ve seen in just a couple of weeks at Foothills have been so encouraging. He has really bonded with the team and I am grateful that we can work through this together.

He met a goal a couple visits ago and the entire room cheered - he was so proud! It’s rare to find a place where everyone (staff and clients) is supportive and friendly. Plus, we’re feeling stronger every day!

I injured my elbow 6 months prior and eventually found out it was tennis and golfers elbow at the same time. I went to numerous chiropractors, kinesiologists and massage therapists with little to no relief. After going to Kevin for about 6 visits, he was able to not only treat my issues so I could sleep better without my elbow pain and get me back to an active lifestyle, but gave me the tools and knowledge to help continue to strengthen my elbow. I’d highly recommend Kevin and wouldn’t hesitate to see him again if needed for an injury.

I have used other physical therapy groups in Anthem, and Foothills PT definitely tops the others. I immediately noticed that I spend a higher percentage of time with licensed therapists—and it seems as if I get more time overall, as well. I never feel rushed, and I feel I have progressed after each session. Kevin Truitt, the clinic director, is always helpful and supportive. The office seems very organized, and I have not yet had a problem getting an appointment when needed (Thanks, Stephanie.)

Mike King, DPT, primarily has been helping me with a knee replacement, and together as a team we are making great progress. His communication skills and his depth of knowledge are excellent. He adapts to each patient, explains things well, and helps me make fast progress. When I have had a question, while at home, I have been able get a prompt response via email.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the treatment. I am getting at Foothills PT. And right here in Anthem!
